Picking up the tab...

Without weighing in on the Rocco-Robinson debate again, only one question needs to asked today. Who is paying for former Chief Justice Stephen Grime to represent Annie Williams? It will be interesting to see if the taxpayers are picking up the tab or if Ms. Williams will pay these legal fees out of her own pocket.

She is being sued in her official capacity with respect to a ministerial duty as to which she has no discretion. There is no legal basis to deny her the right to use money already allocated in her budget for legal counsel. She cannot use the County Attorney's Office because that office is separately representing the canvassing board.

Thanks for the information. The local buzz indicated that Ms. Williams was being sued personally & not in her official capacity as Supervisor of Election.

Stay qway from the local buzz. You are not capable of dealing with it.

The "local buzz" translate to gossip mongers such as yourself Mrs. Covell. Perhaps "A Positive approach" would be to speak with facts instead or rumour, something you obviously leave out of your opionions. Back in High School my my Biololgy teacher had a sign that read "Engage Brain Before Starting Tongue".
