Yesterday, the Hernando County Commission voted to impose a spending cap on themselves at the suggestion of Commissioner Kingsley. This might have been a stellar moment in Hernando County's history to reign in out of control spending if it had not been for the last minute comment of Mr. Kingsley. He suggested that this self-imposed spending cap might pave the way for the future approval of the 1/2 cent sales tax for Hernando County capital improvements projects...
