Apparently the county budget director thinks he's exempt from county policy. He was noted for making calls on behalf of Diane Rowden to the Hernando County School Board several weeks ago. Apparently he had a list of questions for the school board representative about Rowden's opponent in this election. All the information requested was a matter of public record so it makes one wonder why he would jeopardize his position with the county to campaign for Diane Rowden during work hours. On the other hand, having the budget director make calls on her behalf appears to be an abuse of power by Commissioner Rowden.
