KOREAN WAR 55th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 28TH IN HERNANDO COUNTY – REP. BROWN-WAITE TO PRESENT COMMEMORATIVE COINS TO KOREAN WAR VETERANS
Brooksville Elks Lodge 2582 Hosts Event Honoring Korean War Veterans
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite (FL-05) will join members of the Brooksville Elks Lodge 2582 at a 55th Anniversary celebration of the end of the Korean War. In addition to the afternoon’s festivities and presentations, Rep. Brown-Waite will also present commemorative coins to Korean War veterans during the event.
The public is welcome to attend the festivities.
Korean War veterans interested in receiving a coin to commemorate their service must contact Rep. Brown-Waite’s Brooksville office at (352) 799-8354 to request an application. Korean War veterans will need to provide a copy of their DD-214 to complete the application.
